Local Matters. With a staff of 300 professionals, we have one of the state’s largest and most talented local bridge and highway engineering teams all in New York. We have more New York-based project managers and engineers dedicated to bridge and roadway projects than anyone else in the region. This matters because we are here, this is our home, and we understand New York clients’ needs and challenges. Local projects get the leadership attention and resources they deserve.
Home Grown Talent. Our project management leaders have grown their careers within H&H. Having served as staff engineers, designers, and deputies, they have been mentored by leaders who have managed your projects for over 130 years. As your project staff has risen in their careers, our current leaders have risen with them. Local talent has long been the key to our success, growing with continuity and earned experience.
You have known and trusted our key Project Management Leaders for decades: William Nyman, PE; Bob Eslinger, PE; Dan Wan, PE; Ramon Recio, PE. Our experience on New York’s major highways & bridges goes back to the early 1950s and the design of major original sections of the Grand Central Parkway, Cross Bronx Expressway, and Van Wyck Expressway.
