At H&H, giving back is part of who we are. HH Inspire™ brings together our charitable giving, volunteer efforts, and community outreach under one shared commitment: making a meaningful difference in the communities where we live, work, and serve.
From firmwide giving campaigns to employee-led volunteer initiatives and rapid response efforts during times of local or global need, HH Inspire™ empowers our people to support the causes that matter most. Whether contributing time, resources, or expertise, our employees are united by a desire to create a positive impact beyond the projects we deliver.

Giving Tuesday Food Drive
Annually, each office leads a local food drive, with their donations going to a neighborhood charities. As a company, the offices compete for the Golden Can Award, which is given to the office that donates the most per person. A Crystal Heart Award is given to the office with the largest annual increase.
Taste of H&H Potluck Charity Event
Each year, offices offer a potluck event where staff members pay to eat and vote for their favorite dish! The favorite dish winner selects which charity their funds benefit. Office winners travel to NYC to cook dishes for our CEO and guest tasters.
Morgan State University Partnership
H&H has partnered with Morgan State University’s Clarence Mitchell Jr. Engineering School to support engineering students in need. We contribute $10K annually to the school’s general fund, enabling advisors to support students who need extra help with expenses.
World Central Kitchen (WCK) Emergency Support
Our team has consistently rallied together to support World Central Kitchen’s (WCK) efforts. Whenever a crisis strikes, we contribute financially to WCK. H&H HQ matches the funds raised by the #hhsquad, amplifying the impact of our collective contributions. Recently, we’ve supported relief efforts for the California and Maui wildfires, Ukraine, Dominica, and those affected by Hurricanes Ian and Ida, as well as Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
National Society of Black Engineers
In the past, H&H has provided a $10K scholarship to a collegiate member of NSBE. With a donation, NSBE provided scholarship entries to H&H for review. A panel of #hhsquad members reviewed the more than 30 submissions to select the winner.
Engineers Without Borders Grant
H&H offers financial support to any #hhsquad member who wishes to travel with EWB.
Baltimore City Schools Robotics
H&H sponsored the BSC Robotics League while participating in the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas.
Volunteer Week Salute
Annually, during Volunteer Week, H&H publicly salutes our many team members who volunteer in their communities. Our #hhsquad volunteers at their university as mentors, lead local charities, serve in food kitchens, and many other endeavors. We are proud of the work they do.
Anniversary Giving Back Program
At H&H, we’re proud to inspire meaningful change and celebrate the milestones that make us stronger together. To honor employees on their three-year anniversary, we’re excited to donate $25 in their name to a charity of their choice – turning individual achievements into collective impact.
Community Service Day
In 2025, H&H offices dedicated time to assembling and decorating goodie bags for local children’s hospitals, supported by more than $1,000 in donated supplies for children. In 2026, the #hhsquad donated 400 hygiene kits to support people facing homelessness across the country. Community Service Day brought employees together outside their usual routines while making a meaningful difference in communities nationwide.
Recognizing Earth Day
In honor of Earth Day, H&H proudly donated $1,000 to support environmental protection efforts. This contribution helps organizations like Ocean Conservancy continue their work safeguarding our oceans and planet for future generations.
Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) Earthquake Relief
H&H partnered with Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) to support communities impacted by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia. Together, we helped provide critical relief, essential resources, and long-term recovery assistance to families affected by the disaster.
