H&H was the Owner’s Engineer on the Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement Project Contract 2. H&H performed a peer review of the constructability and construction staging scheme to replace the Bruckner  Expressway Bridges over Amtrak/CSX as part of the as-needed support design activities.

In January, the Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement Project Contact 2 won the ASHE NY Large Project of the Year. The Hunts Point project is over $20 million.

H&H employees Daniel Gershkowitz, Stephen Porobija, Alexandra Willey, Nicola Belzer, Judy Wu, Lenny Lustrino, David Deluca and John Madera attended the ASHE meeting in January.

“Hunts Point 2 stood out among a highly competitive field due to its complexity, innovative approach, social/ economic considerations, safety, aesthetics, and sustainable features as well as exceeding established goals,” according to ASHE NY Metro panel of judges.
