H&H Wins ACEC NJ Honor Award for the Rt. 31 over Peters Brook Bridge

July 15, 2020

H&H Principal, Glen Schetelich, represented the project team at the recent ACEC NJ Awards Dinner, which was held outside the Forsgate County Club in Jamesburg, NJ. The Rt. 31 over Peters Brook Bridge project received an Honor Award.

H&H provided bridge engineering and design services for the superstructure replacement on the Route 31 over Peters Brook Bridge. H&H provided hydraulic analysis (HEC-RAS), structural, civil, and traffic engineering, environmental permitting, and community outreach services for the final design and engineering services during construction. The scope also included utility coordination and construction support services.

The goal of ACEC NJs Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) program is to convey to New Jersey’s engineering and construction industry, government officials, the media, and the general public, the contributions that engineering firms make to society and to their local communities through outstanding design and construction. In addition, engineering firms have an opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of enlightened clients, and to recognize individuals who have provided the innovative thinking and leadership that make a project successful.

Congratulations to New Jersey DOT and the entire project team.
