Piling operations begin on the Sustainable Transport Bridge. H&H is honored to work with prime consultant Roughan & O’Donovan and Knight Architects, providing movable bridge engineering for the detailed design of the new bridge in Waterford, Ireland.
The new 207m crossing is a key element of Waterford City & County Council’s urban regeneration project which will extend Waterford City Centre across the River Suir to encompass the North Quays Strategic Development Zone. The new bridge is designed to accommodate pedestrians, cyclists, and a local public transport shuttle bus.
