H&H Hosts Intern For A Day

November 9, 2023

H&H has recently provided a hands-on learning opportunity for three undergraduate students from the University of Maryland: Stephanie Bostick, Courtney Houston, and Abigail Pardoe. These interns gained experience by working closely with the communications and marketing teams at H&H. The initiative is part of the University Career Center’s efforts to bridge classroom learning with real-world professional environments, helping students explore and prepare for their future careers.

Stephanie graduated from UMD in 2019 with a degree in Public Relations, Courtney is currently studying English, and Abigail is studying Marketing. Each intern experienced the daily operations of H&H’s communications and marketing departments.

“The company was extremely welcoming and gave insight into the process of rebranding their company as well as how to keep up with employee engagement,” said Abby. “I was able to observe the importance of a cohesive marketing team and how it affects an organization as a whole.”

Following Abby’s time at H&H, she has transitioned to a new role as a Marketing Intern with the UMD Athletics Department. H&H’s commitment to student mentorship focuses on easing the transition into professional environments, boosting academic and career achievements, expanding professional networking, and supporting intern development.

H&H prioritizes opening the doors to educational and networking prospects to those interested in the communications and marketing fields.

H&H is proud to collaborate with the UMD Career Center and honored to have hosted such exceptionally talented students interested in the communications field.
