During H&H’s ninth annual Founders’ Day Celebration, Dave Gerber, PE, was awarded the 2024 William W. Chang Award of Lifetime Achievement.

His dedication and expertise in bridge engineering demonstrated over his impressive 35 years at H&H are truly commendable. Dave has easily delivered more than a billion dollars in projects throughout his career.

A few major H&H projects that Dave has worked on include the Portal North Bridge, Pulaski Skyway Mainline Deck Replacement, Niantic River Bascule Bridge, Brielle Bridge Replacement Feasibility Study and Bridges S-32 (Rumson Road) over Shrewsbury River.

“He is really, really outstanding in what he does,” said CEO, Sean Bluni. “What he does is successfully lead the engineering and delivery of complex project after complex project after complex project. If Dave is on it, we know it is going well.”
