Retired Principal Associate Edmond Kmiotek Passes Away, “A Mentor To Many”

August 3, 2021

H&H and its staff express condolences at the passing of retired Principal Associate Edmond Kmiotek.  As described by H&H retired Partner Bernie Haber, “Ed was a renaissance man and the best highway engineer H&H had during the 1960s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.”

According to Mr. Haber, Edmond’s projects included I-80, I-78, Route 169, Route 19, the NJ Hudson River Route Study, I-95, I-495, and many others. He led our New Jersey office from 1975 until his retirement in the 1990s. “He was a true gentleman, with sharp wit and was a mentor to many,” said H&H Principal Emeritus, Tim Noles.

Many of his project paintings grace the walls of our Hoboken office, New York office, and museums across New Jersey.
