We are pleased to announce Randale Shinn’s appointment as the West District Complex Bridge Lead for our Colorado office. With over 12 years of experience in bridge engineering and eight years specializing in complex segmental concrete structures, Randale is a highly valued addition to our team.
As Colorado’s West District Complex Bridge Lead, Randale will supervise structural engineering staff, offer mentorship, and provide technical leadership. He will employ the latest structural engineering analysis and design software advancements, working closely with John Corven and H&H’s Tallahassee office. He is actively engaged with the American Segmental Bridge Institute.
Randale’s journey into bridge design began 13 years ago during an internship at CP&Y in San Antonio, TX, where he gained valuable experience in both water and wastewater design projects as well as bridge design. During this period, he completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas, San Antonio. Following graduation, Randale continued his professional development with a consultant in Austin, TX, while concurrently earning his master’s degree.
Over the past 11 years, Randale has contributed to various engineering firms, focusing on complex structural analyses and pioneering new methodologies in bridge engineering. His passion for designing intricate concrete bridges led him to relocate to the Denver metropolitan area.
