H&H served as Traffic Consultants to the Town of New Castle for traffic studies, pedestrian and operational characteristics, which were evaluated in detail to address traffic congestion and vehicular activity at an existing railroad crossing and improve overall safety.
Traffic studies included traffic analyses, accident analyses, license plate surveys to determine shortcuts into residential neighborhoods, access considerations for a major mixed-use redevelopment, existing roadway alignment and access to the new development and nearby school and develop conceptual plans for road improvements, modification to traffic control and operations and access considerations.
