H&H (Frederick P. Clark, a Hardesty & Hanover Company) served as the Traffic Consultant for the developer and in conjunction with the City of Stamford Traffic Division and completed detailed Traffic Studies to improve and provide access to a major redevelopment of industrial/commercial property and enhance and address ongoing traffic congestion along U.S. Route 1.

The traffic studies incorporated other planned development in the commercial corridor and developed of road improvements and modifications to traffic control to address planned development and existing traffic congestion and overall safety concerns in the U.S. Route 1 Corridor.

These plans were approved by the City and the State and improvements were provided by both the developer in conjunction with improvements provided by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) and the City of Stamford. In all cases, the developer purchased and provided private properties other than at the actual site of redevelopment to provide the improvements. (West Mains/U.S. Route 1)
