As a subconsultant, H&H is providing FDOT District 7 transportation planning and engineering services under a multi-discipline, indefinite quantity contract that supported interstate highway improvement work within the five counties of the district. The geographic limits include over 150 miles of Interstates 275, 4, and 75 and key contributing arterials. H&H staff has been involved with this program since 1998.

Primary responsibilities include concept development and staged construction development for future projects. These projects, often with strict time and cost constraints, can strain the District’s existing staff. Whenever called upon, H&H staff serves as an extension to FDOT District 7 staff; completing assignments while recognizing the authority, control, responsibility, overview, and contractual decisions of the District.

IPM assignments completed by H&H staff included:

  • Concept Development – Tampa Interstate Express Lane Master Plan, Update to a 20-year Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) concept for the I-275/SR 60 and I-275/I-4 interchanges.
  • Coordination with Stakeholders – FHWA, the Westshore Alliance, City of Tampa, the MPO, HCAA, HART, and citizens.
  • PD&E – Reevaluations of the Tampa Interstate Study FEIS & I-4 Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown and IJR.
