H&H congratulates Paul van Hagen, CEng, FICE, PE, PEng, Principal Bridge Engineer in our London office, on being awarded Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), the highest grade of membership within ICE. This designation is reserved for senior civil engineers who demonstrate exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and significant contributions to the profession.
Paul brings 33 years of experience in bridge engineering and has been a valued member of the H&H team for the past three years. His career has spanned continents, from early bridge inspections in New York to leading major infrastructure projects and, more recently, helping establish a growing practice in the UK.
“I’m honored to have been made a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a milestone that reflects the many people, projects, and places that have shaped my career so far,” Paul shared. “From my early days inspecting bridges in New York to leading major infrastructure projects and now helping build a new practice in the UK, I’ve been fortunate to learn from generous mentors and extraordinary teams.”
