Justin Fries, PE, FRSE, DBIA, has been named Chair of the Transportation Market Committee of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Florida Region.
This committee plays an essential role in advancing and promoting design-build practices throughout Florida. Its mission centers on improving project delivery by bringing together professionals committed to collaboration, innovation, education, and certification in the field.
Beginning in January 2026, Justin will provide strategic leadership in guiding the committee’s direction. His responsibilities will include establishing goals, facilitating key discussions, coordinating initiatives, and supporting alignment with DBIA’s mission. Justin will represent the committee within the organization, oversee programs and events, and encourage continued growth in design-build delivery across the state.

I have spent half of my career in design and the other half in heavy-civil construction and hope to leverage this experience to advance the committee.”
