The Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvements, Contract 3 project has been recognized with a 2025–2026 Project Honor Award by ASHE New York Metro, honoring one of the region’s most significant large-scale transportation initiatives.
H&H is proud to have supported NYSDOT’s $1.7 billion Hunts Point Access Improvements program, serving as Owner’s Engineer and Design Quality Assurance Engineer and contributing to the delivery of critical interstate access improvements that enhance mobility, safety, and freight movement in the Bronx.
Members of the H&H team, Dana Hecht, PMP, David DeLuca, PE, DBIA, Elana Freedman, PE, John Madera, PE, Daniel Gershkowitz, PE, Judy Wu, PE, and Nicola Belzer, attended the ASHE New York Metro January Meeting: Large Project of the Year event. Elana Freedman, PE, and Judy Wu, PE, accepted the 2025–2026 Project Honor Award on behalf of the project team.
