Representatives from H&H’s Michigan Office and Michigan DOT were honored to receive an Engineering Excellence Award on March 11th at the historic Fillmore Theater in Detroit. The award was received for the Fort Street Bridge project in Detroit. The new Fort Street Bridge is the heaviest bascule leaf bridge in the world at 8.2 million pounds and the second largest by deck area at over 15,000 square feet. Congratulations to all who worked on the Fort Street Bridge Project!
