H&H has been recognized by the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York with two 2026 Engineering Excellence Awards, recognizing the firm’s contributions to transformative infrastructure projects that improve mobility, strengthen communities, and support long-term economic growth.

The Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement Project received a Diamond Award in Category I: Special Projects. As Owner’s Engineer and Design Quality Assurance Engineer for the New York State Department of Transportation’s $1.7 billion Hunts Point Access Improvements Program, H&H helped advance a series of critical transportation improvements designed to enhance safety, improve freight movement, and strengthen connections to one of the region’s most important economic hubs.

The Renfrew Bridge earned a Gold Award in Category C: Structural Systems. H&H served as the lead movable bridge and slewing machinery systems designer for the landmark swing bridge, which is improving regional connectivity and supporting continued growth within Scotland’s Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District. The project creates new connections between communities while improving access to employment, education, healthcare, and recreational opportunities.

These recognitions reflect H&H’s commitment to delivering innovative, technically complex infrastructure solutions through collaboration, engineering excellence, and strong client partnerships. The awards also highlight the dedication and expertise of the multidisciplinary teams that helped bring these impactful projects to life.
