On Tuesday, May 27, H&H joined project partners and community members in celebrating the ribbon cutting of the East Haddam Swing Bridge in East Haddam, Connecticut. Opened in 1913, the bridge carries two lanes of Route 82 across the Connecticut River. H&H provided a full range of engineering services for the project, including preliminary design, as-built and as-inspected load ratings, a sidewalk feasibility study, permit plans, construction support, and final design for the bridge’s structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
