H&H is pleased to welcome Daniel Mitchell to its UK office, further strengthening the firm’s integrated engineering capabilities. An experienced Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) engineer, Mr. Mitchell brings extensive expertise across moving bridges, rail, nuclear, and industrial sectors.
With his addition, H&H UK now offers clients fully integrated, in-house structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services.
This milestone reflects a deliberate step in the firm’s strategic growth, enhancing its ability to deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
Since establishing its London office in 2022, H&H has expanded its presence across the UK and Europe, delivering work on high-profile projects including the Herring Bridge in Great Yarmouth and the Renfrew Bridge in Renfrewshire, while continuing to build a strong and growing regional portfolio.
Current work includes Williams Bridge, Trevor Basin Bridge, Narrow Water Bridge, and the Waterford Sustainable Transport Bridge in Ireland. The team is also supporting the refurbishment of key infrastructure such as Tower Bridge, Langton Alexandra Swing Bridge, and the Humber Bridge, reinforcing H&H’s role in both delivering new infrastructure and extending the life of existing structures.
Mr. Mitchell brings specialist expertise in the design and delivery of EC&I systems for complex infrastructure to H&H. His experience includes control system architecture, functional safety in accordance with IEC 62061, and integration with high-voltage systems. He has led major project deliveries exceeding £10 million and is highly experienced in moving bridge systems, lock gates, gantries, and industrial automation.
