We are pleased to congratulate Dana Hecht, PMP, on her appointment as Chair of the WTS New Jersey Agency Affiliates Program.
This newly established program is designed to strengthen collaboration between WTS New Jersey and public transportation agencies across the state. It formally recognizes agencies that are committed to advancing women in transportation while expanding access to WTS NJ’s professional development, networking, and mentorship opportunities. The initiative also creates a more structured framework for engagement among agency leaders, emerging professionals, and industry partners, supporting workforce development and helping shape the future of transportation in New Jersey.
In her role as Chair, Dana will provide strategic leadership for the program, supporting its continued growth and impact by fostering meaningful engagement between the public and private sectors. Her appointment reflects a broader commitment to strengthening key industry relationships and enhancing the organization’s presence within New Jersey’s transportation community through active collaboration and participation.
“The Agency Affiliates Program opens new doors for our employees to engage with WTS New Jersey—through professional development, leadership opportunities, and broader visibility across the transportation industry. I’m excited to chair this committee and support a program that directly benefits our workforce while strengthening our partnership with our public agency partners and with WTS,” Dana shared.
The WTS New Jersey Agency Affiliates Program is a new initiative that builds formal partnerships with public transportation agencies to promote inclusion, leadership development, and industry collaboration.
