Bernard Haber Receives Life Membership to ARTBA

New York, NY – Hardesty & Hanover, LLP, (H&H) retired Partner Bernard Haber, PE, has been awarded a Life Membership to ARTBA. According to ARTBA’s By-Laws, a Life Membership is awarded to “those individuals who performed extraordinary, distinguished and outstanding service in the cause of transportation development.” This is one of ARTBA’s highest honors.

Before Mr. Haber’s retirement in 2001, he was the managing partner at H&H, having worked for the firm for 48 years, 29 years as a partner. Some of his major design projects included the Cross Bronx and portions of the Long Island Expressway, the Henry Hudson Parkway reconstruction, and portions of Interstate Route 80 (New Jersey). Mr. Haber has remained an active advocate for the engineering industry and his local community.
