John Beatty, PE, has been appointed Manager of H&H’s NJ Highway Department. Operating out of the Mount Laurel, NJ office, he will provide project management oversight and project staffing coordination and will oversee project performance for the New Jersey Highway Team. John is an experienced professional, currently fulfilling the roles of Staffing Supervisor and Senior Highway Engineer and serving as Project Manager on various projects in New Jersey.  John has been with H&H since 2015.

John is a civil engineer with 18 years of professional experience in transportation design. He has performed roadway design, including vertical and horizontal alignments, the preparation of roadway plans, right-of-way plans, maintenance of traffic plans, cross sections, and typical sections. He is also experienced in preparing specifications, cost estimates, bidding documents, and permitting for various transportation projects. He has a BSCE and a BS in Architecture from Drexel University and is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey and Virginia.
