During H&H’s tenth annual Founders’ Day Celebration, Alec Noble, PE, was awarded the 2025 William W. Chang Award of Lifetime Achievement.
Alec is a Chief Electrical Engineer with 30 years of service and expertise in electrical engineering. Throughout his career, Alec has made a significant impact at H&H, contributing to over 750 movable bridge projects, demonstrating technical proficiency, and maintaining a strong commitment to the field. Alec has been a dedicated mentor to H&H engineers for the past two decades. His knowledge extends beyond electrical engineering, providing valuable insights and guidance that have strengthened the team and supported the professional growth of his colleagues.
“It’s been interesting, and mostly fun, watching H&H go from a 150-person bridge firm to a 500-plus-person multidisciplinary engineering company over the last 29 years. I remember when I was a wee engineer, the experienced people were working with and mentoring me,” said Alec. “We should all remember that and pay it back by helping the people we work with for them to advance their careers.”
This award is a testament to Alec’s contributions to H&H and the engineering community. Congratulations to Alec on this well-earned honor. H&H looks forward to his continued success in the field.
“Part of why Alec is so incredible at what he does is that he is a rare blend of electrical engineer and electrician,” said CEO Sean Bluni. “He can troubleshoot any problem and design the solution for it.”
