H&H Announces New Firm Principals

On behalf of the Principals and all members of H&H, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Craig Jenne, Doug Mastropietro, Rodger Rochelle, and Rich Stevens to Firm Principal.

Craig Jenne, PE, has over 20 years of experience in transportation civil engineering, including the past nine years with H&H, serving as NY Roadway Group Manager and interim New England Roadway Lead. He has also served as both Technical Lead and Project Manager on a range of infrastructure improvement projects across the Northeast and Florida. His expertise encompasses highway and roadway capacity improvements and rehabilitation, pavement evaluation, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, permitting, and municipal engineering. Craig also has extensive experience in design-build procurement and post-design construction management.

Rodger Rochelle, PE, is H&H’s Carolinas Regional Manager with 30 years of experience advancing transportation programs at NCDOT. Since joining H&H three and a half years ago, he has expanded the firm’s role across all 14 NCDOT divisions, including on-call contracts, owner’s representative services, design-build pursuits, and bridge inspection. He currently leads H&H’s work supporting NCDOT’s $1.2 billion in emergency response projects following Hurricane Helene, developing progressive design-build policies, and managing design submittal reviews. Prior to H&H, Rodger held several leadership roles at NCDOT, including Technical Services Administrator and Chief Engineer of the North Carolina Turnpike Authority.

Doug Mastropietro, PE, has 21 years of experience in bridge engineering and inspection, all of which have been with H&H. Over the past decade, he has played key roles in numerous major bridge and infrastructure inspection projects across the tri-state area, earning recognition for his leadership and technical expertise. His responsibilities include project management and quality control for bridge inspections, load ratings, asset management, and design projects. Doug serves as the NY/NJ Bridge Inspection Group Manager, overseeing 17 team members.

Rich Stevens, PE, is a Senior Structural Engineer with 19 years of experience—all with H&H. He currently serves as a Senior Project Manager and Deputy Director of Engineering. Rich has led a wide range of movable and fixed bridge, roadway, and rail projects through all phases, including conceptual and final design as well as construction support. His work has contributed to several complex, award-winning infrastructure projects, including the Kew Gardens Interchange, Fort Street over the Rouge River in Detroit, multiple RFK Bridge ramp reconstructions, the Unionport Bridge, the LaGuardia Central Terminal Building replacement, the Van Wyck Expressway widening, and the Replacement of Three Bridges on the Bronx River Parkway.
